Today, the UK synth punk band Adult DVD have shared "Rolling Face," their newest single off their upcoming self-titled debut, out September 25 via Fat Possum Records. Inspired by a groggy night out, the new song follows "Cowboy On Aisle Three" as an electric, irreverent, and high-energy track.

"Rolling Face" comes with an accompanying visualizer (which suitably merits a flash and strobe light warning). Watch/listen to it below:

The new single digs into the crates of acid house loops to create a song with purposefully no space to breathe or think between the high-energy pulses. Inspired by a buttoned-up character losing everything in a matter of hours — accomplished, in part, by poor, hedonistic choices — "Rolling Face" tackles the album's preoccupation with escapism, boredom, and frivolity. "A job in a suit can only get you so far," says vocalist Harry Hanson via press release, "which is what the character from 'Rolling Face' soon realises: he's at the deep end of a pretty ugly night out, which ends in him losing his mind and money."

The Leeds band are currently on tour in Europe and the UK, traveling to select cities across the continent to promote Adult DVD. Joining them are indie punk and rock acts Turnspit, Littl Mort, Kiosk, Group A.D., and Silverwingkiller. Tickets are available now.
