Okay, uh, horrible performance from Mr. AI himself, Fenix Flexin, doing his legendary "Rubberz" track in person, and I think with this performance we are seeing what for the near future is going to be the separation between artists who actually are making music with their minds and their hands and their hearts and their souls, versus whatever the hell this is. Because as much as the AI stuff makes it easy to kind of fake the idea that you've made and written a song from scratch in the online space, the truth becomes painfully apparent when you go to perform that shit live and you can't sing it. You sound bored. It's painfully obvious that the song did not come out of you because you are essentially doing what is mediocre karaoke in front of a bunch of dopes who are interested for whatever reason.
And that's important to note because these days artists famously make most of their money live through ticket sales, and no self-respecting person with two brain cells to rub together is going to shell out potentially hundreds of dollars to watch this. Especially with awful clips like this one going around. Because this is not a performance. Nobody is connecting with this.
This is just a spectacle a handful of people are staring at, and that alone does not make a music career.
What do you think?
