Your Old Droog, who has earned praise from Black Thought, Pharoahe Monch, Madlib, and the late Sean Price, is back with a follow-up to 2024’s Movie. His new album Bread & Butter is releasing on September 25 via Nature Sounds Music.

For Your Old Droog’s first offering, he is sharing “I Don’t Care” featuring Flying Lotus and Georgia Anne Muldrow. You can listen below.

“I Don’t Care” features Your Old Droog going in with an effortless delivery, dropping bars about being unbothered by other people's opinions. “I just go ‘bout my day / blocking out what haters say is one of those things that I’m good at,” he raps.

Your Old Droog named the album after a family story. When his family arrived in America from Ukraine, they had a finer taste that was worth more than money. They would spread caviar on ordinary bread. This is the album's central theme: turning scarcity into abundance.

The album also features Evidence, A-Reece, Masta Ace, DJ Harrison, Oddisee, Tarriona ‘Tank’ Bell, Kim Hill, and Conductor Williams.
