Today, Fontaines D.C. have shared the second single off their upcoming album, Dopamine Chamber. "Tongue," which they premiered live in New York City last Monday, is out now with a music video documenting a late night trip to the city.

The "Tongue" music video is directed by John Angus-Stewart. Watch/listen to the new track below:

The song "continued where Romance left off, leaving the live-band elements until they were really needed,” according to guitarist Conor Curley in a press release. "Tongue" takes the form of a distorted, downbeat sludge rock tune, with distorted samplers and guitar loops giving it a melancholic, artificial edge.

Dopamine Chamber is out October 16 via XL Recordings. Fontaines D.C. are about to head on a fall/winter tour in Europe and the UK, with support from the Belfast dance punk duo Chalk. In 2027, they'll be embarking on another European/UK leg (with Viagra Boys and Little Simz), as well as cities in Australia, New Zealand, and Japan (with Gurriers for two dates). They'll also be headlining a special performance in Ireland's Slane Castle on June 26, 2027. Tickets are available now.
