She lacks self-awareness 😭

Q: What is something that you wish people understood about your journey that they might not understand from the outside?

SL: How much goes on behind the scenes like for one? Like of how much like I like I'm spending hours and hours and hours on my phone like posting, thinking about what to post. Like there's just so much that goes into that alone like in my brain.

Stella Lefty telling us what exactly we are not understanding about her come up, very meteoric rise recently in the music industry. Because a lot of people have been saying and calling into question her legitimacy because of her dad being a billionaire, because of how huge a song such as "Boston" has gotten over the past couple of months. And here is Stella's chance to spell out how valid that hype actually is. And she goes to tell us how many hours she spends on her phone.

How about how many hours you spend actually writing a song that does not sound like a Noah Kahan song? How about how many hours you spend producing a good album because the instrumentals on her new LP are bland as hell?

Unfortunately, this is like a direct result of the TikTok-ification of the music industry. That you have success now being dictated by how often you're posting and how often you're able to get online versus how good of a song you're making.

And I'm sorry, if you're a "nepo baby" with a billionaire dad, you're going to have way more time to do that than the average person.

What do you think?
