Californian rapper Yeat dropped a new track, "On Nothing," Friday, which appears to take jabs at Travis Scott, otherwise known as "La Flame".

On the track, Yeat not-so-subtly disses Scott, spitting, "I don't fuck with Flame, not a lot to say, if I saw a candle, I'd shush it / What more could I say? You do what they tell you to say, you a motherfuckin' puppet." Listen below:

The beef between the two artists seems to have emerged from Yeat's verse being quietly removed from "Eaters", a track from Young Thug's Slime Language 3, which dropped late last week. Allegedly, the axed verse was prompted after an ultimatum was given to Thug by an unnamed artist to remove either Yeat's verse or their own. "Eaters", as it stands, features Travis Scott, Future, and Tezzus.

Yeat all but confirmed that Scott was the catalyst in having his verse removed from the track, as seen in the lyrical content of "On Nothing". Additionally, before dropping the track, Yeat took to Instagram stories to post messages from an unidentified sender advising the rapper to refrain from dropping the diss track:

if you wanna end lil bro career go ahead drop that video lil boy. we gon break lil bros cocoon. ya whole team compromised praying on yo downfall. etc

Yeat added text to the screenshotted message that says "NOON" alongside a crying laughing emoji.

This is not the first instance of Scott cutting Yeat from a release, as his track "TRIP OUT" with Sheck Wes, from Jackboys 2, was removed from streaming shortly after release.
