Today, Swedish dark pop singer-songwriter Tove Lo shared her latest single, "DNH," an electro-pop anthem about sticking with one's friends on particularly drunk and messy nights out. It's the newest track to be released from her upcoming album, ESTRUS, out September 18 via Pretty Swede records.

Filtering everything through an intense, physically demanding dance pop lens, Tove Lo's music on Estrus aims to live in high contrasts. On "DNH" (which, as revealed in the chorus, stands for "drunk and horny"), the Swedish pop star bangs on the wall in both love and frustration for her friend, who now needs a babysitter after going overboard on a night out dancing. "I promise I love you and this isn't an attack / at the end of the night I'm the one holding your hair back," she sings, reaffirming an unbreakable bond. But, honesty doesn't escape Lo's signature blunt and straightforward songwriting: "I came here to dance / but you're changing my plans / now I'm stuck in the corner sober."

"DNH" follows the release of "des fleurs," a collaboration with Belgian electronic-rap legend Stromae that delicately blends soft vocals and piano melodies with sharp, intense percussion and bass.

Tove Lo will embark on an ESTRUS tour later this fall, beginning in Nashville on September 15. Her album release party will take place at Brooklyn, NY's Under The K Bridge, and then she'll continue touring in select cities in North America. Both Mallrat and COBRAH will join her on this leg. In November, she'll travel to Europe and The UK, with Rose Gray as her opener. Tickets are available now.
