Chaz Bear's Toro y Moi project is, all of a sudden, back. A new record entitled Unusua has materialized on his Bandcamp page, and is apparently being released in two weeks on November 20.

Bear has put up a new single from it, "Motive," which you can catch below:

The album, which only has seven songs, also includes "Proof," which came out as a seemingly-one-off single last month.

Unusual was written, arranged, and produced by Bear in 2026, and engineered and mixed by Alex Manriquez. It's reportedly an "instrumental/ambient" project, with Bear saying "it was inspired by the calm and/or chaotic storm of becoming a parent."
