Shoegaze renaissance pioneers They Are Gutting a Body of Water, affectionately known as TAGABOW, lift as they climb on their new mixtape, KOOL FAITH / LOOSIES II, which will be released on October 16 on ATO Records in partnership with Julia's War.

Today, they present three singles: "kool marder (ft. Cashier),” "the rook,” and "free willy."

Their 2025 LP LOTTO, a buzzy online fanbase, and a deep devotion to their local scene — in part from singer Doug Dulgarian's community-minded label, Julia's War — catapulted them from cult underground status to critical acclaim. They're no longer Philadelphia's best-kept secret, and they're bringing their buddies, including a slew of local favorites like Fib, Hooky, and Full Body 2.
