Rush are bringing their reunion tour to Las Vegas’ Sphere for a residency in May 2027. The band announced Thursday, November 5, that the Elevate From The Norm run will launch with five shows, and each night will feature complete performances of 2112 and Moving Pictures.
Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson, Anika Niles, and Loren Gold will perform, expanding on the band’s current touring production with an enlarged visual show designed specifically for Sphere. Along with the two full albums, the set will include other fan favorites.
Lee said in a statement that the group is working on new ideas to suit the venue, building on the kind of show it has played in some of its one-off cities. He added that the band is “so effin’ excited” to put on a show that pleases fans both visually and viscerally. Lee also said that when he first heard about Sphere, he thought the venue sounded tailor-made for the visual style Rush has always aimed for. Because the band normally spends months designing the effects for its shows, he described the residency as a perfect fit for its design team.
The residency opens with five shows on May 21, 23, 26, 28, and 30, 2027. Tickets go on sale via Ticketmaster in stages:
