Olivia Rodrigo’s inaugural Daisy Chain Fields benefit festival wrapped up over the weekend with a major announcement.

Joined by Melinda French Gates on stage, Rodrigo announced that French Gates would be matching the $10 million being donated, bringing the total to $20 million thus far.

The $20 million will be divided evenly among the following nonprofit organizations supporting women and girls: Baby2Baby, Black Mamas Matter Alliance, Center for Reproductive Rights, FreeFrom, Jhpiego, Johns Hopkins Center for Indigenous Health, National Domestic Workers Alliance, National Institute for Reproductive Health, National Women’s Law Center, and Planned Parenthood.

Daisy Chain Fields was held in Irving, California, with the net proceeds of the festival being donated to non-profit organizations. Attendees had an opportunity to learn about each organization that worked across reproductive rights, maternal health, economic empowerment, domestic violence prevention, and gender equity. It was built around educating and creating a dialogue around issues affecting women and girls in the U.S.

“Daisy Chain Fields is a music festival founded on the belief that joy, community, and creativity can inspire meaningful change,” Rodrigo said in a press release. “It affirms that music and collective experience can serve as enduring drivers of progress and social change. It's a place where inspiration and curiosity lead to knowledge, strength, and action.”

The festival featured performances by Chappell Roan, Doechii, Mitski, Rachel Chinouriri, Santigold, and more. Rodrigo closed out Saturday night.

Lilith Fair founder Sarah McLachlan, Stevie Nicks, and Alanis Morissette were also special guests.
