We're now in a world where physical media exclusives are becoming increasingly common. Known indie slacker-rock icon Mac Demarco is no stranger to this concept, as he has slowly released four CD-only albums over the past year, all of which are now available on streaming services.
All four LPs were released via the artist's own label, Mac's Record Label, early Friday morning. The album titles are as follows: Dog On The Rock, Seven Off the Two, Seaplane Dog, and The View From Tian Tian.
The albums were previously only available by chance at various tour dates. According to various posts on the artist's subreddit, Demarco would hand out CD copies of these albums after shows. Fans who received these exclusive copies were hesitant to upload them online.
The albums feature 47 songs total, all of which have dated titles such as "20260325." However, the two tracks that do possess proper names are "Madam Crown" and "Wave Goodbye."
