Lukas Graham also jumps ship from Ed Sheeran tour in solidarity with Macklemore

Just hours after Irish artist Aaron Rowe left Ed Sheeran's Loop Tour, Danish pop group Lukas Graham has followed suit in solidarity with rapper Macklemore, booted from the tour at the behest of venue owners.

A message posted to Instagram, viewable below and ostensibly written by singer Lukas Forchhammer, emphasized the need "to speak about war, about civilians getting killed, about children who deserve to grow up." Like Rowe's statement, it takes shots at billionaire Robert Kraft, who drove the effort to eliminate Macklemore from the concert dates: "Money doesn't give you the right to own the conversation," the post reads. Echoing Macklemore's vocal support for Palestine – which created this tour implosion in the first place – a string of watermelon emojis (symbolic of Palestine's flag) concluded the announcement.

Sheeran now has no supporting acts for his upcoming North American shows.
