Pop artist FINNEAS announced today that he will be leaving Ed Sheeran’s The Loop Tour. This comes in response to Macklemore being kicked off the tour for his comments about Palestine.

In a statement made on his Instagram, FINNEAS wrote “Artists must not be silenced when they speak up for the oppressed. I have decided to withdraw from my upcoming tour dates with Ed Sheeran. I stand with Palestine and its people.”

Aaron Rowe and Lukas Graham, as previously reported, have also announced their departures from the tour for similar reason.

And now, Sheeran’s own backing band, Beoga have also quit the tour.

FINNEAS was supposed to open for Sheeran furing the Latin American leg of the tour later this year.
