Lucy Dacus shares video for new single "Best Guess"

Earlier today, Lucy Dacus shared her latest single "Best Guess" revealing the third track off her upcoming record, Forever Is A Feeling. She also released the accompanying, long-anticipated music video, unveiling her official cast of "hot mascs" she requested last month.

Listen/watch to the new song below:

Dacus confirmed the release of the "Best Guess" music video in a witty, promotional TikTok on January 7, where she began an open casting call for "hot mascs," or "smooth" and "suave" women (or those who "can pretend to be") to be featured in her music video. TikTok users could audition by posting a video of "yourself looking cool" to the sound Dacus provided, and her team would reach out within the week. On February 6, she revealed the TikTok users who were casted, keeping the other, more famous stars a secret.

Among the cast of eighteen featured people in her vintage Calvin Klein ad-inspired video, "Best Guess" stars Dacus herself, MUNA's Naomi McPherson, Towa Bird, Grey's Anatomy star and indie musician E.R. Fightermaster ("FIGHTMASTER"), and model/actor Cara Delevigne. Dacus directed the video herself.

"Best Guess" is the third promotional single off Forever Is A Feeling, following last month's double-release of "Limerence" and "Ankles". It's also her second music video to feature a famous co-star, as Bottoms breakout star Havanna Rose-Liu played a museum security guard and Dacus' love interest in "Ankles."

Forever Is A Feeling will be released on March 28. Lucy Dacus is also going on tour to promote the new record this spring, beginning with a brief Europe/UK leg before performing in the US. MUNA's Katie Gavin and jasmine.4.t will support her at all the US and Toronto dates. No opener for the Europe dates was announced as of yet.
