King Crimson-adjacent Stick Men releasing first studio album in a decade, share single

Stick Men, made up of King Crimson alumni Tony Levin and Pat Mastelotto alongside Markus Reuter, are releasing their first album in ten years on September 4, Let's THRAK Again, via Unsung Records and 7D Media.

Only one track on the prog-tastic project features vocals, and that's out today. "Swimming In Tea" has Reuter at the mic. Take a listen below:

While the album is one hour long, it takes the form of two reels. Each reel has been separately mixed – the first by Stefano Castagna, the second by Fabio Trentini. Besides the mixes, the track sequences are altered on each reel. (The vocal version of "Swimming In Tea" is one of two interpretations here.)

"Our audience listens deeply," the band noted in a statement. "They don't just want to hear the notes; they want to understand the architecture of the sound. By having Stefano and Fabio approach the exact same music with completely different visions, we are handing the listener the ultimate audiophile puzzle."

Let's THRAK Again is out September 4 through Unsung Records/7D Media. You can pre-order on Bandcamp here.
