Interpol reveal details on new album, 'This Mirror Weighs a Ton,' two new songs out now

After months of teasing with tour announcements, Interpol have finally begun preparing for their new album, This Mirror Weighs a Ton. Out on August 28, this will be the first time the NYC indie rock band will be on the Partisan Records label. To celebrate, they've released two new singles: "This Mirror Weighs a Ton" and "See Out Loud."

Listen to the new tracks below:

"See Out Loud" notable features guitarist Daniel Kessler on vocals — his first time back on the mic since Interpol's breakout record, Turn on the Bright Lights, in 2002.

Coming back to the studio since 2022's The Other Side of Make-Believe, the band tapped Andrew Wyatt for production in their home borough of Manhattan, NYC. Though he isn't performing on tours due to injury, drummer Sam Foragino is credited as co-writer and session drummer on This Mirror Weighs a Ton.
