Gene Simmons has announced the Legends of Rock Expo, a three-day hard rock hang set for September 25th through 27th at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino.
The guest list reads like somebody dumped a rock record collection onto the Vegas Strip. Simmons will appear alongside Geezer Butler, Stewart Copeland, and Dave Davies.
Also scheduled to appear are fellow Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer, plus a stacked cast of rock lifers and cult favorites including Carmine Appice (Vanilla Fudge, Cactus), Vinnie Appice (Dio), Graham Bonnet (Rainbow, Alcatrazz), actor James DeBello, David Ellefson (ex-Megadeth), Lita Ford, actor Edward Furlong, Bruce Kulick (ex-Kiss), John Moyer(Disturbed), Nelson, Stephen Pearcy (Ratt), Saving Abel, and Jerry Scheff (Elvis Presley).
According to the official press release, “This will be an unforgettable weekend with once-in-a-lifetime moments; it’s set to be action-packed with concerts, autograph sessions, photo ops, parties, and panels.” Simmons is also expected to hit the stage with The Gene Simmons Band, because why not?
Promoter David Heynen summed up the appeal in the most fan-friendly way possible: “This is an opportunity for everyone to rub elbows with musicians from their favorite rock bands. The kind of access most of us can only dream of!”
Tickets will be available through the expo's official website. Ticket packages reportedly range from $249 for premium weekend access all the way up to a $2,795 Black Diamond VIP experience, a price tag that feels perfectly in step with Simmons’ long-running habit of monetizing his rock like no one else can.
The expo also lands just ahead of another major KISS-related Vegas event: the 2026 edition of KISS Kruise: Landlocked in Vegas, happening November 13th–15th at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, where fans are expected to witness two unmasked performances from KISS. For a band that supposedly said goodbye already, the engine still sounds very much alive.
