Evil Island releases new song, music video with Sleigh Bells' Alexis Krauss

After gracing the post-hardcore world with a pair of debut singles with evocative music videos to boot, Evil Island is back with their third new release, and they've brought an indie rock icon along for the ride.

Released on Tuesday with a music video to match, the third single off the upcoming Terraform the Afterlife, "Melted Heart," features the glorious racket Johnny Whitney has made a career off of during his tenure with The Blood Brothers, only this time, he’s replaced Jordan Bailey’s baritone with the anthemic aura of Alexis Krauss of Sleigh Bells during the song’s final minute.

Formed in 2025 as a supergroup of sorts – featuring Whitney, Mark Gajadhar, and Cody Votolato from Blood Brothers; Autry Fulbright II from Off!; and Todd Weinstock from Glassjaw – the group recorded their debut album, Terraform the Afterlife, with Nu metal legend Ross Robinson, who produced ...Burn, Piano Island, Burn in 2003, earlier this year in Los Angeles.

While the band hasn’t announced any shows or a tour just yet, with their album set to be released on August 13, live performances will almost certainly follow for the veteran post-hardcore players.
