Controversial singer Ed Sheeran has had his shows at Gillette Stadium canceled due to the impending bad weather, as a strong nor'easter approaches New England.

In a statement made by Massachusetts Attorney General Andrea Campbell, she says, “My office jumped into action to demand that consumers be provided a clear path to get their money back if they no longer want to attend due to significant changes to the lineup.”

This comes off the heels of a highly publicized scandal that involved his opener Macklemore being fired for speaking up about Palestine.

Gillette Stadium owner Robert Kraft has also faced scrutiny over his ties to Israel his supposed “donation“ to the region. Sheeran has also caught flack for his underwhelming response to the tour fiasco.
