<a href=”http://meowtain.bandcamp.com/album/meowtain”>Meowtain by Meowtain</a> Lo-fi pop and rock outfit Meowtain has some pretty noisy and eccentric tunes on their new, self-titled Bandcamp release, and “Species” is one of my favorite tracks from it.

Over some frenetic drums, haphazard chords, and some wild female backing vocals, the lead singer on this track drops some hilarious lyrics about declaring war against his own species–which he feels like he can’t talk with anymore, I might add.

Though this is nothing entirely new in a world of lo-fi outfits like Times New Viking and Psychedelic Horseshit, I did find this track too entertaining not to share.
