Ab-Soul lays down some incredibly hard-hitting verses on his new single, “Christopher DRONEr.” The track features a beat laden with foreboding bells, over which the MC delivers a scathing commentary on US militarism. His flow is bold and is perhaps even more fiery than the apocalyptic instrumental.
Ab-Soul also teases
On his sophomore album, Schoolboy Q chases after a number of different sounds and personalities. For me, it’s kinda hit-or-miss, but there are still tracks on here that make it worthwhile to visit this album at least once.
