  • Mariam The Believer is the musical pseudonym of singer-songwriter Mariam Wallentin. You might already know her for her vocal work in the incredibly percussive Wildbirds and Peacedrums. On a personal note, I’ve always enjoyed Mariam’s soulful and emotive voice, but felt the music Wildbirds and Peacedrums put out

  • Flowers: that’s the physical theme of Brooklyn indie pop outfit TEEN’s new video for the title track from the Carolina EP they released last month. The video follows performance artist Megha Barnabas, who also holds director credits, as she prances through crowded areas handing flowers to various individuals.

  • Graves by HOODED FANG A fun, wild, garage-y track from Hooded Fang, which is actually the title track–uh, sorta–from the band’s latest full-length album, Gravez. The LP is currently released on Full Time Hobby in Canada, and I’m hoping for a U.S. release soon, eh?

  • Some patient, subtle electronics from Russia’s Anton Zap on the track “Water,” which is a cut from his forthcoming album on Apollo Records. The album is dropping on the 18th of this month, and is titled Water. Enjoy!

  • An up-and-coming MC from New York who goes by the name HD has a new track and music video right here that showcases a lotta potential. For sure, I’m looking forward to this kid’s forthcoming project, Stepping Into Tomorrow. Stay tuned, and enjoy! /via/
