Earlier today, Sex Pistols announced that they would be travelling to select cities in the United States and Canada for a reunion tour. Original members Steve Jones, Paul Cook, and Glen Matlock will be performing with singer Frank Carter.

The tour will begin this coming September in Dallas, TX, following shows performed in Europe and the UK. This will be the first time Sex Pistols will play in the US since 2003, according to Ultimate Classic Rock. The band will be playing songs from their only studio record together, 1977's Nevermind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols, as well as a few other songs.

Former member and vocalist Johnny Rotten (né John Lyndon) will not be joining the band on tour. When the other members announced a reunion tour last month, he told The I Paper,

"It annoyed me. I just thought, 'They’re absolutely going to kill all that was good with the Pistols by eliminating the point and the purpose of it all.' I didn’t write those words lightly. They’re trying to trivialise the whole show to get away with karaoke but in the long term I think you’ll see who has the value and who doesn’t. I’ve never sold my soul to make a dollar."

Lyndon has not been included in any of the recent Sex Pistols-related projects, including the consultation for the 2022 Hulu miniseries Pistol, per Ultimate Classic Rock.

Tickets for the upcoming North American leg of the Sex Pistols tour will be available Friday, April 4 at 10 am local time. Fans are able to sign up for a presale, which will be accessible on April 1, 10 am local time. Check out the dates for the North American leg of the tour below:
