Okay, it's toward the end of the month. I want to shout out three records that I have been enjoying like crazy.
First off, shout out to the new Clipse record. Let God Sort Em out. I don't know guys. I mean, I know we're pretty early into the 2020s and all that, but this might be the comeback album of the decade. Incredible record. Each person involved is just at the top of their game. Whether you're talking about Pharrell's mind blowing and super tasteful and colorful groovy beats. Like they could have easily stuck to their guns but instead they ventured out quite a bit on this record but still gave us those classic coke raps that we know and love so well.
I also want to give a shout out to Fairyland Codex, the new Tropical F*** Storm album. A really grim, gnarly, nasty, but also at points gorgeous and beautiful art, punk and noise rock record that really is an interesting reflection of the grim times that we are currently living in.
And last shout out I want to give in this segment is to the new Jim Legxacy album, Black British Music. Jim most definitely lays down the groundwork for what I think could be a very promising career because even at this very early stage, he's really showing a knack for melody and songwriting and lyricism as he toys with a lot of different genres.
But yeah, those are three recent projects that I most definitely want to push in your guys direction and you're the best.
What do you think?
