Ye (formerly known as Kanye West) sat down with DJ Akademiks in LA this week and used the opportunity to torch just about everyone. While adorning a swastika chain and, later, a black KKK outfit, Ye also took time to defend Drake and Diddy.

Ye continued his recent streak of chaotic behavior in the hour-long interview. He threw shots at JAY-Z, Frank Ocean, Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, Pusha T, ex-wife Kim Kardashian, and more. While the interview was filled with wild quotes, one of the more surprising lines came when he spoke about his children with Kim:
“I didn’t want to have children with this person after the first two months of being with her, but that wasn’t God’s plan.”
While discussing his feud with Kim over using their daughter, North West, in a new track with Diddy, he included yet another anti-Semitic comment:
“I tried to go to Japan and keep it calm. My dad would call me and say, ‘Ye, don’t go in on that woman because it’s gonna affect the children.’ But now it’s war. They think they’re too powerful. The Jews think they can get Kim to play with me.”
He also defended Diddy, who is facing some serious accusations, with an alarming view on Diddy's abusive relationship with Cassie:
“I related to Puff. And then they pulled out a video with him and Cassie from 10 years ago, and then it made everyone be like, ‘Oh, Puff’s a woman beater! He’s the Devil, he needs to be in jail.’ Meanwhile, I don’t know somebody that hasn’t gotten into an altercation with their girl at one point.”
After previously referring to Drake as his nemesis and praising Kendrick, Ye threw shade at Kendrick and offered some unexpected support for Drake.
On Kendrick:
“Why does [the NFL] want Drake to be out of there? Why do they want somebody with no hits like Kendrick to do the Super Bowl?”
On Drake:
“It’s like family members that you don’t fuck with. Drake is a million times better than Kendrick and a million times more important. What Future and Young Thug have done with Drake, just culturally. That shit last year, I couldn’t barely sit through that shit. That shit was insane. That shit had Lucian Grainge, Universal, Drake lawsuit written all over it.”
But maybe the most telling moment came when Ye addressed the time he tweeted “fuck Virgil [Abloh]” after his friend’s death:
“I’m evil. I am evil person.”
