Willie Nelson has revealed the details for his 77th solo studio album, Oh What A Beautiful World, which will be released in April 25, 2025 via Sony Music. This will mark the country legend’s 154th album overall, further cementing Shotgun Willie's legacy in the music world.
Today, Nelson has unveiled the album’s title track, a duet with fellow Texas country icon Rodney Crowell. The song, originally written by Crowell for his 2014 album Tarpaper, has been given new life with Nelson’s unmistakable outlaw vocals. While the new version stays true to the original, Nelson’s delivery brings a new twist.
The album, a collaboration between the two, will feature a collection of songs penned by Crowell over the last five decades. That includes classics Jerry Jeff Walker and Bob Seger.
