Wilco's Sky Blue Sky Festival returns; MJ Lenderman, Waxahatchee, Yo La Tengo, and more on the lineup

Today, Wilco announced the lineup of their fourth annual Sky Blue Sky Festival. The alt rock festival will take place at the Hard Rock Hotel in Riviera Maya, Mexico, and it will run from January 15 to 19.

Hosted by Cloud 9, the destination festival first took place at the Mexico location in 2022, and had a rocky beginning amid public health and safety concerns from international travelers and potential spreading of the COVID-19 virus, per Stereogum. Yet, it returned in 2023, and now two years later, Wilco and friends will be back in Riviera Maya for the event's fourth edition.

Wilco will headline three of the four nights, and the other performers billed for the festival were personally curated by the Chicago band. Dr. Dog, Dinosaur Jr., MJ Lenderman & The Wind, Waxahatchee, Yo La Tengo, and Cameron Winter are among the list of invited guests. A live recording of Chris Black and Jason Stewart's How Long Gone podcast will also be a part of the four-night experience. Wilco's Jeff Tweedy is also on the lineup for a solo show.

Returning guests to Sky Blue Sky have access to a presale that will begin June 24, but first-time attendees can sign up for it on the festival's official website. General sale begins June 25.
