Yo Gabba Gabba! drew a massive crowd at Coachella, with fans overflowing from the stage area and screaming along to “There’s a party in my tummy.” The costumed cast led the chaos with synchronized dance moves and kids-show energy.
Though some questioned their place on the lineup, this wasn’t their first Coachella appearance — they played back in 2010 and made a cameo during The Aquabats’ set earlier this year. After positive feedback, organizers brought them back for a full set.
The show featured guest spots from Flavor Flav during the “Beat of the Day,” Thundercat in a pink catsuit shredding on bass, and a final group cover of “Rainbow Connection” with Weird Al, Portugal. The Man, and Paul Williams.
This marked Weird Al's Coachella debut.
