The video and track expand on themes of fascination and jealousy, centering around a preserved body discovered in a bog. Lyrics delve into contrasts between the bog's preservation qualities and the decay typically associated with swamps, which is meant to be a commentary on societal attitudes toward beauty, age, and the obsession some have with appearances.
