Twin Shadow to release new album ‘Georgie’ in March, announces concert dates

Singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Twin Shadow (aka George Lewis Jr.), will release his sixth studio album, Georgie, on March 14 via the new indie label Dom Recs. This will be the follow-up to his 2021 self-titled LP.

According to a press release, when Twin Shadow was finishing the upcoming full-length record, his father, George Sr., fell ill and passed away, prompting him to dedicate the project to his memory. He explains:

Georgie is my most stripped-down album; at this point in my life and career, nothing matters more than my deepest, darkest, and brightest feelings. The album art features my father, George’s signature. I had him scrawl it hundreds of times in a notebook. When I was making this record, I had no idea he would pass away just a few months later. Georgie is dedicated to his memory.”

There have been three singles and videos in the lead-up to Georgie: “As Soon As You Can”, “Good Times”, and “Permanent Feeling”, all directed by Lewis himself.

Twin Shadow is scheduled to play in Austin, Brooklyn, and Los Angeles in support of Georgie, with more shows to come. Check out the dates below:
