Trio of Jane's Addiction members record new music without Perry Farrell

'90s cult rockers Jane's Addiction imploded last year on a reunion of the band's most well-known lineup, featuring founding bassist Eric Avery. An onstage attack, directed towards guitarist Dave Navarro by frontman Perry Farrell, dissolved the tour.

Now, Avery has posted himself, Navarro, and drummer Stephen Perkins working on new music in the studio. "Writing some more new lines to some of Stephens drumming. Look forward to getting some Mr Navarro on them. 2025!," Avery wrote. Check out the post below.

Three days before the onstage fight, Avery stated in an interview that "If there is a Jane’s Addiction in 2025, there will be new music. But you never know if there’s going to be a band at all." Hopefully, that promise will come some semblance of true.
