The New Pornographers release new single, "Pure Sticker Shock"

The New Pornographers have shwred "Pure Sticker Shock", their new single. The song appears on their upcoming album, The Former Site Of, out March 27 via Merge Records.

The new synth pop single comes with an official visualizer, animated by Michael Arthur. Watch/listen to "Pure Sticker Shock" below:

Front person A.C. Newman wrote "Pure Sticker Shock" grappling with common doubts about self-worth and identity. "This song is not about a specific event," he shares, "but it has felt very 'applicable' to me and this year of my life. It basically asks the question 'What has worth? Who is deciding?' Your market value is not always your value."

The new single follows the releases of "Ballad Of The Last Payphone" and "Votive", which will also be featured on the forthcoming The Former Site Of.
