The wait is over, since SZA released LANA – the deluxe version of her sophomore album SOS – last year on December 20 via Top Dawg Entertainment, fans have been asking the “Snooze” singer to release other songs she had in the vault. Today (February 7), it has been confirmed when they will be out.
Not even 24 hours after releasing the 15-track SOS deluxe, she revealed that there were three new songs in the vault waiting to be included on the recent LP. These are: “Take You Down”, “PSA”, and “Open Arms”.
She then said that these would come out on January 6, when the label returned from holiday. Unfortunately, there were some delays due to the unforeseen wildfires in Los Angeles.
Now, SZA's website homepage shows "new songs coming" on Sunday February 9 at 7pm ET, the same day she will perform as a guest artist on the Super Bowl Halftime Show headlined by Kendrick Lamar.
