After five years without an album, Snoh Aalegra is ready to let listeners into her love life.
The Iranian-Swedish R&B singer has announced that her fourth studio album, Legendary Love, will arrive November 13 via Stem. The project follows 2021's Temporary Highs in the Violet Skies, which featured Tyler, the Creator and James Fauntleroy and further established her reputation for creating atmospheric R&B.
Aalegra confirmed the release alongside “I Love You,” a lush new single featuring Nile Rodgers on guitar and Raphael Saadiq on bass. Co-produced by Aalegra, Joel Compass, and Josh Grant, an accompanying music video was directed by Alfred Marroquín. Watch below:
The song follows “Karma,” her first release in three years, and “Run Free,” another preview of the album's wistful, vintage-inspired sound.
In a recent interview with The New York Times, Aalegra revealed that Legendary Love draws from an intense relationship with an unnamed entertainer. She spent more than two years developing the record, incorporating 1980s synthesizers, drum machines, and contributions from collaborators including Babyface, Jimmy Jam, and Terry Lewis.
“I don't think the greatest love stories are measured by how long they last,” Aalegra said in a statement. “They're measured by who they ask you to become.”
The album also features a rare, Stevie Wonder-approved sample of “I Believe (When I Fall in Love With You It Will Be Forever).”
The album artwork captures that sentiment through a glamorous but melancholy portrait of the singer wearing sequins and two watches, which she told The New York Times symbolize two lifetimes.

Legendary Love is out November 13 . Presave here.
