Today, Skrillex celebrated his birthday by surprise-dropping a brand new EP, Kora. It consists of three new dance tracks, featuring collaborations with Varg2™, Siiickbrain, Whitearmor, swedem®, and Sacred Family.
Listen to "Yo Yan", "Someone Said", and "Kora" below:
The new EP goes against the grain of his previous work by pivoting to analogue electronics. With human vocals, nearly no drums, and an absence of beat drops, it's the opposite of Skrillex's iconic dubstep style.
Kora follows up Skrillex's last EP, hit me where it hurts x, which came out in November 2025 via OWSLA. (Some collaborators on that have returned for Kora.) Both also quickly came out after the artist's fourth studio record, F*CK YOU SKRILLEX YOU THINK UR ANDY WARHOL BUT UR NOT!! <3, which earned him a Grammy nomination for Best Dance/Electronic Album.

Kora is out now via OWSLA/Atlantic. It's available anywhere for streaming. Official tracklist:
- Yo Yan
- Someone Said
- Kora
