Following debut single "6'Pole" in September 2024, Safe Mind – the project founded by Boy Harsher's Augustus Muller and Cooper B. Handy – has announced debut LP Cutting The Stone – out July 25th. And with that a new track called "Standing on Air".
Listen and watch the video by Guy Kozak below:
"Standing on Air" more or less follows the same magic hyper catchy dorm room synth pop blueprint as "6' Pole" and Boy Harsher cult anthem "Autonomy" – a fun synergy between Handy's wholesome lyrical delivery and Muller's chipper production style.
After the success of "Autonomy", Handy and Muller realised their chemistry wasn't a fluke, as they continued working on music over the years that followed. The common denominator was an open-heartedness and penchant for head-bobbing beats and melodies. And from there, Safe Mind was born.
