Chicago-based post-rock band Russian Circles have announced on Instagram that they will go on tour in the US in March 2025. The band just completed the European leg of their world tour on November 11. Furthermore, they've shared that Pelican will support them throughout the US tour.
This will be the first time Pelican embark on a major tour in five years, and it will be one of the first major appearances with the original lineup of members. Laurent Schoeder-Lebec, the band’s original guitarist who left in 2012, rejoined the group in 2022, replacing Dallas Thomas, who left Pelican that year. Pelican will also return to play a set at the 2025 Motocultor Festival in France next August. They last performed at the festival in 2018.
