Rosalía collaborates with Björk and Yves Tumor for "Berghain"

Ahead of LUX's release on November 7 (via Columbia), Rosalía shared her first single "Berghain". The song, a collaboration with Björk and Yves Tumor, comes with an accompanying music video, directed by Nicolas Méndez.

Watch/listen to "Berghain" below:

The song features the classical orchestral arrangements first teased on the Spanish pop artist's social media, as well as a choir chanting "His fear is my fear / His rage is my rage / His love is my love / His blood is my blood" in German, while Rosalía pivots into baroque-era operatic vocal style. (She sings in both German and Spanish/Catalan throughout.) Both Björk and Yves Tumor commit to the drama of this new track — a transformation of love into divine ecstasy — with their own verses toward the end (in English).

LUX will be Rosalía's longest album yet, featuring 18 songs divided into four separate "movements." (Digital versions will only include 15 tracks.) Each section will cover themes of spirituality, rebirth, the relationship between the human and the divine, and love and sexuality. "Berghain", sixth on the tracklist, falls under the second movement, which focuses on the emotional intensity of desire, per Milenio.
