Earlier today, the Louder Than Life Festival announced the official lineup for its eleventh annual music event, which will return to the Highland Festival Grounds in Louisville, KY this September. This marks the largest lineup in the festival's history, according to a press release, and it promises special performances by Rob Zombie, Knocked Loose, Insane Clown Posse, Avenged Sevenfold, Slayer, and more.
Over 160 bands will play across the six stages on September 18 to 21. The festival's producer Danny Wimmer (of Danny Wimmer Presents) explained in the press release that he wanted the lineup to represent the past, present, and future of heavy rock and metal music. "Bands like Bring Me The Horizon, Sleep Token, Bad Omens, $uicideboy$, Motionless In White...and Knocked Loose aren’t just performing—they’re defining the next generation of headliners,” he said. “At the same time, pioneers like Slayer, Deftones, A Perfect Circle, and Avenged Sevenfold have set the standard, proving that this music is always evolving."
