Rilo Kiley announce reunion tour dates, deluxe reissue of 'The Execution of All Things'

Just after announcing their grand onstage reunion (after many rumors) at Just Like Heaven festival later this year, indie rock outfit Rilo Kiley have officially announced the dates of their Sometimes When You're On You're Really F**king On Tour.

The dates are west coast-specific, including a stop at Kilby Block Party in Salt Lake City – another date that had been previously rumored. The stint also includes a stop at Red Rock Amphitheatre with Julien Baker & TORRES as special guests. Tickets go on sale this Friday.

In further news, the Jenny Lewis-fronted band are reissuing their seminal sophomore LP, The Execution of All Things. Originally released in 2002 by Saddle Creek, the record is often cited as the band's best, with some of RK's signature songs, like "The Good That Won't Come Out" and "A Better Son/Daughter". The deluxe reissue (also being released by Saddle Creek) is being dubbed the Frozen Lake Edition, (in reference to "The Good That Won't Come Out").

The Execution of All Things (Frozen Lake Edition) Deluxe LP + 7"

It comes pressed on cloudy transparent vinyl, along with a bonus 7" containing three b-sides/rarities: "Jenny You're Barely Alive" (previously only available on the 2003 compilation Saddle Creek 50), and "Emotional (Until Crickets Guide You Back)" and "After Hours" (both of which were featured on the "Execution of All Things" single release from 2003). "Emotional" also featured on the band's archival compilation rkives in 2013.

The release also comes with a die cut gatefold jacket (featuring a new coloration on the artwork) and includes a 18" x 24" poster insert. There is also a slew of new Rilo Kiley merch on the band's website, such as baseball caps, hoodies, and underwear.
