Today, the UK singer-songwriter RAYE shared more details about her sophomore album, set for release March 27 via Human Re Sources. This Music May Contain Hope will be divided into four "seasons," tracing the path from darkness into light. The vinyl version will be sold as a double-album, splitting the 17 tracks into two records.
"Music is medicine," says RAYE. "I guess I’m in the process of making medicine for myself that I can share with the world." Wanting to make something that comforts the listener, she explains: "I want us all to say to ourselves that it’s going to be all right, and I’m going to have faith in the seeds that I’ve planted beneath the snow."
The pop artist's second album comes after years of delay following her debut, 2023's My 21st Century Blues. RAYE has yet to announce the tracklist for the LP, and she has also not released the next single yet.
The UK no. 1 single "WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!", released last September, will be featured on This Music May Contain Hope.
RAYE also recently announced that she'd be joining Bruno Mars as a supporting act for the North American leg of his The Romantic promotional tour. These dates follow her lengthy and nearly sold-out headlining gig across Europe, the UK, the US, and Canada, which begins today in Lodz, PO. Her sisters Amma and Absolutely will be her opening acts. Tickets are available now.

This Music May Contain Hope is out March 27. Pre-order here.
