Pulp and LCD Soundsystem double-headlining performances at the Hollywood Bowl

Today, Pulp announced that they will join forces with LCD Soundsystem at the Hollywood Bowl for a brief residency this upcoming September. The two legendary bands will be in Los Angeles, CA on the 25th and 26th.

Jarvis Cocker, Pulp's front man, shared his excitement for the concerts on his Facebook. "It had to happen one day & we are in such good company… Come along & come alive!" he wrote.

Pulp made headlines at the end of 2024 when they announced they've signed onto Rough Trade Records for a record deal, possibly hinting at new music. (The label previously only managed the band since their debut in 1994, according to the band on social media.) The Britpop legends — reunited for the second time in 2022 —are also going on the You Deserve More tour in the UK, and they will be making several appearances in European summer music festivals.

LCD Soundsystem, the electroclash project of James Murphy, is also making a comeback this year. The iconic New York City band announced on November 1, 2024 that a new album — their first since 2017's american dream — is in the works. "There's no finished LP yet," wrote Murphy on Instagram, "[But] when we're not playing shows, it's getting closer and closer to completion." The band will also be going on tour later this year.

General sale for the Hollywood Bowl shows will commence April 4 at 10 am PT (1 pm ET). Fans can access an artist presale through the venue's website, and that will begin April 2 at 10 am PT (1 pm ET). Check out the dates below:
