Rapper and now country star Post Malone is spoiling us with a new collection of songs in the form of Long Bed, a deluxe edition of his newly released – not even a full day old yet – LP, F-1 Trillion, his sixth studio album.

The 18 track list of the regular edition shows collabs with country veterans on the likes of Dolly Parton, Hank Williams Jr., and Tim McGraw, whereas Long Bed grants us nine new solo efforts from Malone. This comes at the perfect time to satisfy the need of many fans who were divided about the high count of features and duets on the standard album; only 3 songs had Malone performing on his own. But now, those disappointed have 12 new solo tracks; all's well that ends well.

His previous project, AUSTIN, while having more of a pop approach, foreshadowed the direction his sound would have a year later when he finally felt prepared to fully venture into the country sound. It also had Malone exploring his fears, growth, and self- discovery all without any features on the track-list, making it more reminiscent of Long Bed.

The cover art of this latest deluxe edition is altered, as it now shows the same blue 1971 pickup truck from F-1 Trillion much higher in the air far from touching the ice. Besides, in this one, Malone is – mostly – on calmer and less up-beat footing, with deeper lyrics about heartbreak, solitude, and regret.

F-1 Trillion is proving to be a great success. It already sold 500,000 total units in the US prior to the official release. It quickly reached the first spot on Apple Music’s Top Country Albums chart and US iTunes chart. Moreover, its lead single “I Had Some Help”, is sitting at second spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

In addition, Malone opened up on social media to appreciate the support and express his accomplishment upon the release of the LP:
