Earlier today, indie rock band Pinback announced a brief tour across cities in the East Coast. The DC indie punk band Hammered Hulls will open for them at all shows.
Travelling to Philadelphia, PA, Brooklyn, NY, and Washington, DC, the band will play two nights at each venue. They will play their 2004 record Summer in Abaddon in full on the first night. The second show promises a more traditional set, according to the band on their website. Founding members Rob Crow and Zack Smith will be joined by their current drummer Chris Prescott for the tour.

Pinback last went on tour in 2024, celebrating the 20th anniversary of Summer in Abaddon by playing a couple shows in California, their website says. The band's last traditional tour was their 2023 US tour alongside Disheveled Cuss, where Crow and Prescott also played in their band for the performances, according to BrooklynVegan.
Tickets for the Pinback East Coast tour go on sale on March 7 at 10 am ET. The presale event went live this morning at 10 am ET, and people with access can purchase them now.
