Masked singer and producer Pale Jay, is gearing up to release his new studio album Low End Love Songs on September 6th via Colemine / Karma Chief Records.
The new LP features previously released singles like "The Garden," and "Easy, Lee," and continues Pale Jay's unique, yet familiar approach to soul music. He describes the album as a diary in the form of songs, with each tune encapsulating a distinct moment in his life and serving as a means of processing complex emotions.
Low End Love Songs is the result of a cathartic and joyful four-week process for Pale Jay, departing from loop-based song structures towards more intricate and lush compositions while incorporating Latin influences to add new layers of rhythms and textures to his soul-music roots.

Pale Jay says:
"Low End Love Songs, more so than previous releases, is a diary in form of song. I knew I just had to wait for the songs to be ready to be picked, like ripe fruit from a tree. The entire album came together in just four weeks, a process that was both cathartic and joyful.
Each tune encapsulates a distinct moment in my life, with music serving as my means of processing complex and sometimes conflicting emotions.
In this album, I depart from loop-based song structures towards more intricate and lush compositions. Latin influences permeate the music, adding new layers of rhythms and textures to my soul-music roots."
Set to be released on September 6th, Low End Love Songs is an album that stands on its own, yet still sits very comfortably in Pale Jay's discography, where music and emotion are at the forefront of the experience. Pale Jay's work seems to rise above the need for narratives and marketing ploys leaving the unadorned essence of Pale Jay's work to speak for itself. This rare approach leaves the mystery as part of the experience and allows listeners to reflect on their connection to the music.
Colemine's Terry Cole says of the enigmatic Pale Jay:
"Some questions are better left unanswered in my opinion, my friend. Including the question, "Why does this music make me feel so much?" You're better off just sitting back, disconnecting, and letting Low End Love Songs by Pale Jay wrap you up. Enjoy and spread the good word."
Through this 9-track diary, Pale Jay lets you into his inner world, inviting listeners to lose themselves in the raw emotional intensity of his songwriting and compositions. Pale Jay's new album Low End Love Songs is out September 6th. You can preorder it here.
