Today, the alt folk rocker Ora Cogan shared the music video for "Division", her new single and second promotional track off Hard Hearted Woman. Her upcoming album will be released March 13 via Sacred Bones.

Shot like a Western horror film, the black & white music video for "Division" was directed by Cogan, Micah Henry and Paloma Ruiz-Hernandez. Watch/listen to the new single below:

The video was shot in Lillooet, British Columbia, which resides in Xaxli’p Traditional Territory.

Hard Hearted Woman aims to mystify ordinary life, and the eerie, Angelo Badamalenti-tinged psych rock of "Division" is no exception. Cogan explains that the song (and music video) tell of three beings: "The Human, The Oracle and The Demon." She continues:

"The Human is wrestling internally in a lonely world. They seek liberation from the torment inside. The Demon is the embodiment of the worst inclinations of the human. The oracle is the storyteller, urging the human to find understanding, to find a way through the internal battle."

Cogan's tour begins next month, starting with an album release show in her hometown, Vancouver on MArch 13. She'll them be travelling to select cities in the UK and Ireland. Tickets are available now. Check those dates below:
