Holding hands, singing tunes, and feeling the love, Oasis kicked off their massive reunion tour in Cardiff, UK on July 4. Yesterday, to commemorate the event, the band released a live version of their Definitely Maybe single "Slide Away".
Listen to it below:
"Slide Away" was first released in 1994 on Definitely Maybe. The band then released it as a B-side single in December that year with "Whatever", a standalone track initially intended to be the last song on their debut album.
The band played to 75,000 people at Cardiff's Principality Stadium on July 4, NME reports. "Slide Away" appeared sixteenth on the (absolutely stacked) setlist, following "Cast No Shadow" and preceding "Whatever". The cover art for the single is an aerial shot of the massive crowd standing arm-in-arm.
This week, the tour continues in the band's hometown of Manchester for a five-day residency at the Heaton Park Stadium.
