Rock band Molly Hatchet announced today that they will be releasing their 13 studio album Lost Horizon on November 27. This is the band's first studio album since 2010's Justice.

The band released the first single "Dixie Highway" today. Listen below:

Lost Horizon will feature new members such as vocalist Parker Lee, who joined the band in 2023, and Garrett Ramsden on drums, who joined in 2024. Both new bandmates are replacing former members Phil McCormack and Shawn Beamer. McCormack was the singer of Molly Hatchet from 1992 and 1995 until his passing in 2019 and Beamer was the drummer of the band from 2001-2024.

When talking about the making of Lost Horizon, lead guitarist Bobby Ingram said, "We used the same studio and the exact same microphones that Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr had. What’s more, Chris Bolster was our sound engineer, he’s worked with McCartney, Elton John, Kate Bush, Oasis and the Foo Fighters." (The studio in question is the famed Abbey Road Studios in London.)

There is also an accompanying tour which begins on September 5 in Pryor, Oklahoma and ends on May 27, 2027 in Bradenton, Florida. Tickets are available on the bands website.
