Miranda Lambert announces new album 'Crisco'

Miranda Lambert has had one of contemporary country's longest-running winning streaks for over two decades now, starting with 2005's rousing debut single "Kerosene" all the way to Ella Langley's ginormous Hot 100 topper "Choosin' Texas" this year, co-written by Lambert.

Now she's announced her own tenth album, Crisco (out October 2 via MCA) and debuted the first single "'Til the Going's Gone," which you can hear below:

The single is both steeped in traditional country and somewhat of a departure for Lambert with its swelling-strings finish. The song vibes with Kacey Musgraves' recent Middle of Nowhere, which is fitting because Lambert appears to duet on that album's "Horses and Divorces."

The album announcement comes on the heels of two other recent song releases, the title track, and "A Song to Sing," which features Chris Stapleton.

Crisco is out October 2. Pre-order here. Tracklisting below:

1. Snakeskin Boots
2. Crisco
3. Cowgirl Curtsy
